Welcome

If you’re a casual birdwatcher or a hard-core birder/twitcher, Tim Dolby provides a guided birdwatching service to those who want to see any of the wide array of Australian bird species around Melbourne, Victoria and Australia!

As your guide, Tim offers a variety of bird watching tours encompassing the broad range of habitats found in Victoria. Although Victoria is Australia’s smallest mainland state and represents only 3 per cent of the Australian land mass, more than 500 species of bird have been recorded there. It is therefore an ideal destination for the birding enthusiast.

Victoria provides vastly varied landscapes, from the eastern temperate rain-forests, to the pristine and often deserted beaches along the coast, and the Mallee of the north-west. Victoria is located in the south-east corner of Australia, bounded by the Murray River in the north, South Australia in the west and Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean in the south. It is without question one of Australia’s best-kept birding secrets.
